These photos were shot in an apartment on the 10th floor of a 1970ties residential building in Naka-Meguro in the center of Tokyo, that had been transformed into a photo-studio. Well known photographer Norio Kidera and stylist Fumiko Sakuhara who regularly works for Muji among other major companies created these pictures using natural light only and with a subjective point of view which give a soft and natural impression.  The setting on the other hand is deliberately kept abstract and imaginative, playing with shapes and colors, trying to capture a Karimoku New Standard that is open to anybodies home and imagination, that looks ahead and inspires.
The project involved location hunting, concept, selection and direction of the photographer and stylist and supervsion of the shooting and postproduction.
