The stand for Karimoku New Standard at the interior accessories oriented Interior Lifestyle fair in Tokyo was characterised by a landscape of monolithic dark grey cubes, that subdivided the space into 4 main areas while serving as podiums at the same time, without interfering with the exhibits and obstructing the passage through the stand. Floor and walls were made of plain birch plywood that had been a key material for Karimoku New Standard exhibitions, being honest, neutral and natural at the same time, with references to nordic modernism.
