For the second Karimoku New Standard exhibition at IMM the layout of the stand was square shaped, with walls on 2.5 sides, which led to the idea to structure the space by creating an “inside” within the existing walls, and an “outside”, defined with a different materialistion and atmosphere. The large walls of the “inside” area were equipped with coloured wall modules that functioned as shelves for accessories and as doubled as abstract  “windows”. The application of simple, plain materials emphasised the colors of the furniture and underline the timeless and functional design approach of the brand.
The project involved concept and design, coordination with the local constructor and supervision of the construction on site.
