The Tokyo Design Week 2013 exhibition was held at Lightbox Studio, a former industrial building in Aoyama and one of the most atmospheric exhibition spaces in central Tokyo. Under the title Out of the showroom – into the home, the exhibition showed the furniture in an unaltered setting, making use of the characteristics of the bright, open space.
For the opening event chef and food producer Masayo Funakoshi created a food landscape inspired by trees and the colours of the Karimoku New Standard collection.
