Catalogue for Karimoku New Standard 2015

David Glaettli/GDD’s Karimoku New Standard 2015 catalogue was developed as a sales tool to distribute to dealers, architects and potential clients. Its design reflects the brand’s aim to balance the contemporary and the timeless.
David Glaettli/GDD’s art direction for this first booklet form catalogue involved development of the overall visual concept, definition of the contents, selection of images and texts, concept development and implementation for the interior photoshooting and selection and direction of the collaborating graphic designer and photographer. The interior photos were shot in a traditional 100 year old townhouse in Kyoto. This house was also the former location of the Glaettli Design Direction studio.
